I was under the impression that Catholic Churches no longer owned and operated St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky? I am very curious. My most recent visit (3-2012) was very poor. The doctor was very knowledgeable; however, the nurse I had was very poor. The nurses knowledge was inadequate. I was shocked at the quality of care I received, but I will give them another chance if needed. I talked with the ER Director and was advised that the situation would be dealt with and I believe it will. My past experiences with St. Joe have been excellent with the exception of the March 2012. I was convinced that since the Catholic Churches no longer owned and operated said hospital that was the reason for the quality of care. Please advise. Thank you for your time.
