My Mother was a patient here for short-term rehab. between mid Nov. 2012 -Feb.1, 2013. They went by Coyne Nursing then.
In the 77 days my mother was there, there were numerous unanswered or ignored questions and many complaints from myself and family to the staff. The end result of the "care" that she had recieved, she had a severe infection left untreated for 3 weeks before treating it, she lost approximately 50 lbs., was improperly medicated, not given the proper fluids and then found unconcious and not breathing on her last day there. They waited at least one hour before calling 911. She was so dehydrated, her kidneys shut down. 10 days later, she died.
And to think that the day before she was rushed to the hospital, Coyne had called me and scheduled an appointment to arrange for her release because she was doing so well.
Incompetence doesn't even begin to describe this facility.
